Refurbishment of my Maserati Mexico

Dug out some pictures of my old Mexico. Wonder where it is now ?
Looks perfect. Great colour combination and absolutely pin-sharp. RHD Mexico's are very rare so it's interesting to see the differences under the bonnet as well as in the cabin. Is that still the choke pull just to the left of the clock? or did they move it closer to the driver.
Put another 100 miles on mine today, it's running beautifully although the gearbox is getting noisy in first, was the synchro noisy in first on yours?
Great pictures by the way

I hardly drove mine and I can't remember where the choke was. I don't recall the gearbox being noisy in first.Great colour combination and absolutely pin-sharp. Interestingly mine was an original RHD car that had spent it's whole life in Italy, a cancelled order. It was in remarkable condition having been dry stored for many years, and with a genuine 20k or so miles. Lovely interior and all the leather was original.
It was road tested by either Classic and Sportscar or Classic Cars, that article would have driving impressions.
Thank you very much. AM112/1*880 is a 4.7L version probably built in 1971.
I have now 7 RHD Mexico described by their owners as originals. Some sources said that 7 or 8 were build by the factory.
AM112/1*150
AM112/1*152
AM112/1*156
AM112*254
AM112/1*880
AM112/1*1044
AM112/1*1046
Others are post RHD conversions especially for the Austalian market.
Two unidentified examples in Australia and Japan.

On a change of tack, that 2cv's plate looks familiar. Didn't spend long in the UK, though, going by DVLA's record. Imported '09, last taxed here '11. That'd have been LHD originally, too - have the Aussies changed their regs? If not, then I think I can guess some of the history and who it was converted to RHD by - which I wouldn't say exactly reflected well on any Mexico seen in its company...Thank you, it makes sense. AM112*512 was for sale in Australia in 2012. It's a post RHD conversion.
