what car is this then?

The shape of the rear quarter glass looks familiar but I cannot place it. I would guess that all of the glass and the heavy chrome mouldings around the side glasses are lifted from another vehicle as these are expensive and complex to make. The screen looks like a compromise as if it doesn't really fit the lines of the body.
Still doesn't help to identify the vehicle though!

Rear windows look like those off a Triumph Stag, just been checking my 'Classic & Sportscar Cars of the 1970s' and can't see anything else similar.
It certainly has a look of a Trevor Fiore effort, wondered if it was maybe a last go for Trident or somebody similar (if it is a UK car of course).

It's a bitsa! The bonnet grille looks like half a plate drainer and it appears to have pop-up headlight panels 9" back from the bonnet leading edge.
Could the headlight surrounds be from a Lancia Beta? Like this one driven by Borat.

If the side badge says 'Furia' then Google suggests there was a car called the FNM Furia, a Brazilian built car based on Alfa underpinnings. Can't get photos uploaded but it does show an older model, this could be an evolution of it as there are certain similar styling cues.
Yes, there are similarities.
