I'm slightly more surprised to see that Citroen at all than by its size.

A quick look at your garage details suggests it might be your car. Very smart looking!

Thanks folks - Been using it heavily this past week and covered 500+ miles without an issue, including a jaunt on a ferry to Belfast.

It's having a well deserved break now - I'm going to start tidying the cosmetics over the next few months.

(I'll stop the thread drift now smile )

I know the Marcos is an L plate but it's a much older design than the DB7 so it counts hehe

There's no small/far away happening, they were side by side and the Aston is a much bigger car.

From a Facebook post, a slight about-turn for the thread.

At first glance, I thought the car was towing a small trailer....

Came back to this at Meadowhall. I know they are different classes but still, I felt small XD

Classics dwarfing another classic.., slightly O/T....but it shows just how dinky a G5 is....
(The Cobra is priced at just under £28,000 in today's money!)
A scan from Motorsport magazine, 1965.

I have a fake plastic cobra and in my head it's a little old sports car but they were pretty beefy by 60s standards weren't they. They're still not small today, wheelbase is almost exactly the same as a k11 micra but loads more body overhang and very wide in 427 body style

One of these is a small, stylish family car with a genuine sporting pedigree...

Have been watching this thread for a bit now and like others agog at how things are growing and wondering where it ends?

However sitting in IKEA car park the other day and watchinga ll the wobblies waddling back to their cars with hot dogs and cokes its clear that most people are dwarfing their forebears too.

Edited to add not criticising as I've had a weight problem since childhood, but I used to stand out....now every other person seems fooking massive!

That misses the point, they're both old so it's not a classic dwarfed by a modern and in any event a big Yank car will always dwarf a Euro hatchback.

I think the Dodge is a modern and not classic......

To be fair, the new one does look a lot porkier than the old one.

Well that's a better comparison.
