But that's still a 5 door family hatch parked next to a 2 seater sports car. Replace the TR with a 2019 MX-5 and the size difference would still be pretty similar.
This is just smaller car parked next to a bigger car.
Wow. What a great idea for a thread. Someone should start one. They could call it something like "One sort of car dwarfed by another". Oh, wait...This is just smaller car parked next to a bigger car.
OP of this very thread

It's fairly obvious the intent of the thread was trying to claim all modern cars are big and older ones smaller. This simply isn't true however.RichB said:
But isn't that just two cars of similar size parked next to each other? That said they are both dwarfing the one over the road.
well, the Alfa is a classic that would be dwarfed anywhere else in the world except where they have Kei cars.More fascinated about the Beetle a long way from home.

Good grief. It fulfills the OP of classics dwarfed by moderns. I see your point and comparisons however the Yaris used to be a small family car, now much larger especially compared to an Austin A30/35 or Austin 1100 of similar period. The TR4 is quite a narrow car even for the time.
