I think my eyes reacted to that pic quicker than my brain did, as at first glance I thought the Mustang was an Iso Rivolta!

Middle age / early onset thickness is surely to blame wink

Whilst looking for this image of my 1275GT with another couple of slightly larger looking Minis..

I found this.. 70's, 80's, 00's 'hot hatch' size evolution.. plus a family wagon! The Golf actually looks quite compact compared to the Clio but it is set up for track so~ 40mm lower than standard..

In the early 70s, a friend of mine had a Lotus Elan in stock at his garage and thought it might be a good wheeze to take it out on a road rally. They had to revert to Plan A when they found both of them wouldn’t fit in it at the same time. Back to the Mexico!

Fancy doing a 'Reader's Cars' on your Fulvia? Lots of PHers have a soft spot for old Lancias.

I was doing some fiddling around down at my lockups, meaning I had my Surf and my Cayenne down there, when I put the MG in between them I just had to take this picture!

Yes I noticed that. I'm assuming the concept is smaller than the production 986 Boxster though?

Parked next to this fat thing today...

Remember when the 928 was a big GT car and the 911 revered as a nimble sports car...

Almost identical in length too

But it was still designed to be a big GT as that appeared to be the direction the market was moving.
