I'd suggest cleaning them up and putting them on Ebay (one at a time) with decent pictures. Don't entertain any "wot's yer best price mate" messages. Just let each auction run to the end

Sadly the OPs car appears to be no longer registered with the DVLA, I wonder what happened to it/him after such a long hunt.

I found this photo online of what I think may have been a proposed facelift for the Tagora.

Looks Audi 100/200 ish. I quite like it.

The OP's car is alive and well, the restoration is almost complete.

Congratulations... the fact it's wearing a different number plate confused me... I searched for A489 JDU, the plate on the car in your original pic.

Great news that it lives though, have you done a readers cars thread on the restoration?

Great thread and really well done OP. Remember the Tagora but never went in one and really pleased someone is prepared to restore one. Looking forward to seeing the finished car.

The main thing I remember about travelling in a Tagora is the incredible feeling of space they have inside because of the huge windows.

Yes and my memory of them is that the interiors were always light colored which added to that feeling of space.

I only have fond memories of these cars. Very spacious, comfortable and well equipped.

I'm surprised he had to have that retro fitted as it was standard equipment on most of them from memory. Quite a Heath Robinson type arrangement but it worked well.

Maybe it was onl standard on automatics.
