COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST!!! Vol 2
Discussion
Saw a Le Mans-style Bentley in town today and had to check the records. It was a recreation by Racing Green based on a 1950 Mk VI but with a straight-eight motor fitted. It looked very, very well done, which is why I had to do a double-take. I think it could be owned by the proprietor of Rich Sauces, because I saw the rear end of a Le Mans Bentley in his garage about a year ago. Not a common sight. This is a photo of the actual car.
I forgot to mention earlier but the MK1 RS2000 I posted^^^^^ is apparently the only car with orange stripes on orange car.
I chatted with the owner and from a short distance and in the pic you can't even see any stripes fitted.
Seems a bit pointless putting orange on orange ,he said the original owner's wife made the choice....

Came across this earlier this morning at a hotel near Wrexham.
Very clean, very tidy and looked to be unmolested, with a few minor signs of use but in overall excellent condition. I'm by no means an expert on these but, having done a little web browsing on it, apparently it was first registered in July 1963, so I would assume that this was probably one of the last of the P4s.
