It's 2x(800/2), so mathematically it's still a Rover 800...It is in fact a ROVOR. The owner said he had to provide a vehicle make for the IVA. He was answering questions as it was generating quite a bit of interest parked on a Wiltshire High Street on a Sunday afternoon. The back half has no engine and that bonnet hides the boot and a bespoke petrol tank. Springs had to be changed to compensate for the loss of engine weight. The rear's steering is not connected. It requires extra lighting (side markers, double reversing lights) as it is over six meters long, so also got a lot of strengthening in the sills!
