Me and the old man are always buying selling and tinkering with old/interesting motors usually triumphs. Been away for the weekend so popped over to see him and imagine my surprise when I pulled up at the house to find him tinkering with his new toy purchased yesterday
He doesn't live in Suffolk does he?

Doesn't get much cooler!

Stumbled across it walking from Coram Fields --> High Holborn on Saturday evening.

I thought it might have been one of those coincidences, my Mrs was driving over to mine last night and said she saw a 'funny little green car, you know like a bath tub with two wheels at the front, and one at the back'. I just assumed it was a Lomax biggrin

Think you want the rotting thread for the 914.

Apparently Stavanger is the place to be for classics.
Saw an Iso Rivolta, a Jensen Interceptor Convertible and a stunning V12 EType Convertible in traffic there over the weekend.

Quiet in here this week!
Couple of nice bits in Norway this week, a 964 Carrera 4 in Oslo and a TVR 2500M (I think) in Kristiansand.
Was also shocked to see a Ferrari FF and a white Lamborghini Huracan in Oslo.
Expensive motors given the car taxes there!

there's one of these in the same colour in the foyer of the BMW Classic museum in Munich. Very rare apparently.

AMD553 (chassis 2081), built in 1933, is the third of the three Frazer Nash Nurburgs, with the tapered door-less
body by Corsica.

To my aged minces, classics do not come much cooler than this. Daimler Dart SP250 seen in a Gloucester Supermarket Car Park earlier today.

Dad? Were you really chased on your Motor Cycle on the North Circular by a Police Daimler Dart ?

Yes son ... wink

One of the few cars that managed to overtake my classic bus (max speed 35 mph) last week:

I get so pissed off at having to pull in at laybys to let past cretins who cannot overtake me on roads such as this one.

Even (!) better picture found on the internet:

It's clearly been a week for Darts. I passed one on the M25 last week, saw this one in Marlborough at the weekend, and saw one on Car SOS this week too.

The Marlborough area at the weekend was also very busy with scooters - Lambretta/Vespa type things. Must have been some sort of gathering somewhere nearby.
