Cool Citroen SM and DS parked together on a side street near Waterloo station in south London. They have been parked there for ages. Obviously a classic Citroen enthusiast - think there used to be an estate parked on the street in the space that has now been taken by the current saloon.
We've had these. Lovely thoughPothole said:

We've had these. Lovely thoughI noticed the SM has recently been MOT'd, so it's still getting used,

I'm sorry, but why is your watermark over the photogrpahic subject when it's not designed to be a centralised, cover-all watermark?!
Just wonderin'.
Sorry, I'd forgotten Lightroom was set to do that. I use LR > Flickr very little so forget what the presets are. Changed it now Just wonderin'.

That's my dads, thread here with a few more pics and a bit more info. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=153...
Certainly got a fair bit of interest at Goodwood, I think most people were surprised to see one that hadn't rusted away

This was parked up in our works car park t'other day. Owner's had it about 20 years, and taken it round the clock twice, but actual mileage unknown.
It's the guy's daily driver, and is in wonderful original (read well used!) condition. The guy said it's only ever let him down once.
Bloomin' remarkable..

Is that the one with the Cummins 5.9BT?
Yes it has a Cummins 6.7L with supercharger.Terry is continually thinking of new ideas and modifications for this car so what it will appear with next time out is anyone's guess.
When he took the car out on a parade lap at the Autumn Classic he held back from the cars in front and gave us an example of what it can do in a straight line... Quite surreal to have that much pace with a low tone exhaust note.
No photo, but I spotted a 1937 cream Rolls Royce behind a normally locked tall gate the other day. 'ABE 504'. I'm no expert on older coach built Royces, so I wonder if anyone here knows anything more about it? It looked amazing, especially since the drive in front of said gate normally has a scruffy looking imported US van of some kind parked on it. The property owner certainly seems to look after the Royce far more enthusiastically than he does his Americana or his daily...
edit - lifted this image off the internet...
...from "platewave.com" - the page on that site says it's a "1937 ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM III SEDANCA DE VILLE LIMO"

The folding section over the rear passengers makes it a "Landaulet".edit - lifted this image off the internet...

If the front seats were in the open it would be a "Landaulet de Ville".
These terms were used (and abused) by coach builders.
I don't think it's a Phantom III. It looks more like a 25/30.

Thanks Roy. I'll bow to your superior knowledge. The Phantom III label was just what was attached to the 'Platewave' image, and could easily have been put there by someone as knowledgeable as me!
Spotted it again on Saturday, still in the yard, as I drove past with the wife.
I've not had a chance to take a photo yet, and probably wouldn't if it meant pointing a camera into the privacy of someone's garage. If I see it out on the drive, or on the road, though, I'll try to grab a snap. Being cream, and an obviously genuine old-timer I'd hazard a guess that it's a wedding car for at least some of it's life. A pretty expensive one too, probably.
