No photos I'm afraid but today I went to my local Co-Op and while chatting to some random fellow a black Ford Prefect 100E started to emerge from the car park. It is quite difficult to see oncoming traffic so the lady owner had to edge out carefully. Luckily the next vehicle along was a Minor Traveller which did the right thing and let her out. I do recall meeting the owner of the 100E at a car show this year and she told me it was her only car.

No pic because I don't have one of those 'dashcam' arrangements but yesterday I was heading up a long straight back road here in deepest France when I came up to and passed something that struck a chord in my memory. It was a MkIV Cortina, or Taunus as they had it here, chugging along.
However, as it was certainly neither cool nor classic I won't bother to mention it here...

I see this MGB GT virtually every weekend at Sainsbury's whatever the weather.

I'm sure it must be a daily driver.

It was there again this afternoon and as always protectively parked away from other cars.

That's an LE, isn't it? 98000 miles or so. Looks good.

Saw this before. Looked really nice in the flesh. Would have loved to have gotten a closer look!

More likely an M535i as the bodykit wasn't standard on the M5.
Great looking car though.

Not sure if this qualifies as a classic or not - definitely a modern classic in my eyes and I would imagine quite rare too?

MG Montego Turbo spotted in Hampshire this morning in surprisingly good condition but under a layer of green moss and mildew

Interesting - tax ran out in February, MOT'd until May. But only 15,332 on the clock, and passed the last six MOTs with no advisories.

Saw a couple today

AH Sprite between Newport and Clavering this morning, although it looked like an L reg in my mirror so may have been a Hall's Garage/similar rebody (he couldn't, or wasn't trying to, keep up with the TR4 so may be wrong on the registration)

Interceptor on Thaxted Road coming out of Saffron Walden just after midday. Was hoping to get a closer look but I was stuck behind a dodderer in a Skoda Octavia and the Duster (aka Dustbin) didn't have the power to get past. Looked very cool though ( the Interceptor, not the Dustbin).

I seem to remember reading somewhere (somewhat incredulously) that the Montego Turbo was the fastest car MG had ever produced.

I assume they were talking about the 0-60 time.

30-50 in third, or 50-70 in fourth, I suggest would see a different result.

They were fast, or more accurately dangerous.
