I kind of agree with you about the wheels. However, he co-incidentally popped up on my Instagram feed yesterday where he has some great pictures and its worth looking at https://www.instagram.com/theclassiccarlife/?hl=en
Ah nice!, good to be able to see some proper photos of them hahalukeharding said:

'm guessing the E-type is a replica as an original wouldn't (sorry, shouldn't) be running around with racing numbers uncovered, and the fuel filler is on the wrong side.
I could be wrong.....
To be honest I'm not worried if its original or not, its bloody cool in my eyes.I could be wrong.....

Love voxy's posts. Reputation has it that Tokyo is nose to tail traffic the whole time! How does he manage it?
Thanks! It's a misconception that Tokyo has terrible traffic congestion - its nowhere near as bad as London as the metro is cheap, quick and clean. Friday and Sunday afternoons/evenings are the only bad times for traffic.I live/work near the prime business and retail districts, and there is quite a classic car following here, especially Japanese and Italian brands, so its comparatively common to see something interesting on the streets.
Here are some French gems seen in and around Civray, Renault 4CV is in Civray market square whilst the Puegeot 403 break was on the forecourt of a Citroen specialist near Sauze Vaussals
Insurance sticker on the Peugeot is current.
Next up something I didn't expect see, a Rover P5B coupe in a yard near Aigre. I went back to recheck the reg this morning but the car had gone, PMC 322L, FMC322L, FHC322L?
On a former petrol station forecourt at the other end of Aigre are these two gems .

^^ odd one that.
924 Carrera GT's tend to be on W suffix plates (built 1980). A quick DVLA check confirms this as a 2.5 litre (CGT was 2 litre turbo), so this might well be a later 924 or 944 made to look like a CGT.
You are corrrect - it is a 924 CGT replica/lookalike. 924 Carrera GT's tend to be on W suffix plates (built 1980). A quick DVLA check confirms this as a 2.5 litre (CGT was 2 litre turbo), so this might well be a later 924 or 944 made to look like a CGT.
The car is in fantastic condition and driven enthusiastically by it's owner.
The weather was perfect at Curborough yesterday, after a damp start the skies cleared and we had the track from 1000hrs until 1700hrs.
