Market Drayton this morning.
The old Rover is there most days, but I hadn't noticed the other thing - don't know what it is - before. It looks like it might be fun to drive though.
A Duro, that's a rare spot out in the wild...The old Rover is there most days, but I hadn't noticed the other thing - don't know what it is - before. It looks like it might be fun to drive though.

According to the Wiki, UK MOD use them, so I suspect that's ex MOD.

I saw a Cobra Daytona in Budleigh Salterton yesterday. I've no idea if it was genuine or a replica but it sounded good and smelt authentic.
Given they only made 6 and none of them permanently reside in the UK.......I can 99.9% guarantee it was a replica (or possibly, but unlikely, one of the 50 'continuation' cars made by Shelby to mark the 50th Anniversary of the Daytona Coupe)
Good excuse to post a pic of it on track back then.
I was in the Lake District this week, this 911 and Land Rover were in the local pub car park for a few days, so maybe the landlord's?
One day this Mini arrived at the pub, and when I commented to the owner that it didn't sound standard he replied with a big smile and simply said "It's far from it, faaaar from it!".
Saw this, surely rare by now, Citroen XM V6 at Coniston Water.
On the way home today, on a trailer on the M25, I saw a very sad sight, what looked like a freshly restored Jaguar Mk2, the front looked freshly painted with no headlights, bumpers or trim, but from the A-posts back it was completely burned out.
Back home in Maidstone I saw a white Triumph Stag and these two have appeared on a driveway just up the road from me.

May already be somewhere in the depths of this thread but a nice (and original-looking) red Daytona parked up in Mayfair this afternoon, RRR 5 on the plate.
I posted a photo in the "really good registrations" thread that someone had put on Facebook. Apparently it's parked there quite often.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
