Bloody hell - now that brings back memories. Isn't it Monteverdi, though? If it is the card set I'm thinking of, the orange Countach was best of the bunch. Also featured a Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer, a white Carrera (good on acceleration), a black Daimler with a brilliant turning circle - even if it did look like a London taxi to my untutored eyes (the photo was a front-end shot, and we didn't see such vehicles in 1970's Hull!). I also remember it had a Bitter CD and a Lotus Elite - which was a bit pants due to a 1973cc engine. I did love that Monteverdi Hai, though - and saw one a few years ago at the Goodwood Revival - a childhood dream come true.
Edited to add - no, not the same cards. mine were these:
To get back to the spirit of the thread, I'll see if I can find the photos I took of the real Hai 450SS from Goodwood.

A good era for TopTrumps! The six on the left are from World Class Cars, the Ferrari BB is from Supercars.
(Quite a few cars appeared in both sets...including the Monteverdi)

Haha! Fantastic. Yes, those were the ones. For lad growing up in Hull in the 70's, they were unbelievably exotic - including the London taxi at the top. I'm sure the Berlinetta Boxer was red in the World Class cars pack - but I prefer it in yellow from the Supercars pack. 70's-tastic. From memory the British contingent was pretty poor - Lotus Elite, Daimer, XJS... can't remember any others. Stirs wonderful memories - which is what these threads are about. The six on the left are from World Class Cars, the Ferrari BB is from Supercars.

Is that Stresa?
This summer I've seen Alfa Bertones and Duettos by the dozen, several Montreals, a lawn full of E Types, several Fulvias and older Lancias and a few Zagato Juniors. The Alfas and Lancias are largely local and the E Types mainly Swiss. I think there are four or five organised classic car events in Stresa every year.

Indeed it is.
You get a haul like that every weekend over the summer between Lesa and Baveno with Stresa as the epicentre. Great place to sit and watch the metal go past. For a thread like this, equivalent to shooting fish in a barrel. This summer I've seen Alfa Bertones and Duettos by the dozen, several Montreals, a lawn full of E Types, several Fulvias and older Lancias and a few Zagato Juniors. Feel free to post lots more pics from Stresa please.
We all like pics......
As Peter says there were loads of lovely cars (and ladies!) around, but those were the only photos I managed to get. There were plenty of modern interesting cars about too and all sorts of classics from Fiat 500s up to an El Camino. There was a piece in Octane about a classic speedboat gathering in June along with flypasts of old aeroplanes. That would be worth seeing. It was a lovely spot and I'm very grumpy that I'm back. I'll endeavour to oblige. I have a house a couple miles away and I'm going there on Monday.
In the meantime, have one from the Brenner Pass a couple of weeks ago:
