The thing I noticed about the MGBGT was that it appeared to have condensation on the inside of the windows.
Damp interior.

The position of that door mirror means it would be useless, unless you're driving from the back seat. Bit of a ding above the rear bumper, but the door fit is about as good as it was when it left the factory.
I guess the opening quarter light prevents it being any further forward.

It doesn't.

The mirror is exactly where the factory / dealers put it, it's just the wrong type of mirror! It should have a flat head that can be angled so the driver can use it. Bullet style mirrors were used on the original chrome grilled cars, mounted on the wings, but it was re-positioned to the door on the later cars (around 1969).

Series II, lovely. There's an entire thread over on RX-7 Club where owners have a competition to park them with the cross-spoke wheels actually lining up laugh Annoyingly, it means they always make my teeth itch now

I didn’t know that Series II applied to the first generation RX7 - had to look it up - skool dayz an’ all that.

Like many older cars, I think it’s got a certain simplicity to its appearance now - certainly aged well, IMO

A couple of recent "spots" - an old Landy, and the local Chalmers.

Always nice to see 'em out and about. I gave mine a bit of a warm-up at the weekend.

I'm sure that I've seen that beast hurtling around the south Cheshire lanes near Nantwich.

Photo looks as if it's in the Fields of Dag.

Saw a pale blue early 70's Spitfire in Henley in Arden this morning. He wasn't hanging around either. Fair play in this miserable weather, and it was still dark.

Ferrari 308 "quattrovalvole" too. Four valves! wow.
But those of us in the know can decipher the model number and appreciate that their are 4 valves per cylinder, trumping the poxy Fiat!
