A rare car in that it was made in otherwise (almost) identical FWD (1300/1500) and RWD (Toledo/Dolomite) forms.
A factor in Triumph’s remarkable commercial success.Dr Interceptor said:
Triumph also made a couple of experimental vehicles based on a 2500 estate fitted with the Stag V8 engine, and Ferguson four wheel drive system.
IIRC, they built one Stag V8 engine 2.5Pi estate, and the other one was actually a Stag 4x4.Ferguson Formula also built this LHD 2.5 Pi estate with their FF system for a private Swiss client.
Car has full history from new, has been restored and was for sale a couple of years ago.

My sister got my Grandad one of these when he died ,she spent about 50p on maintenance and it kept going for years.
I can't imagine he used it much then.My sister inherited my Grandad's car when he died in about 1975
Not a bad car to get ,seeing at it would have been only 4yo then.
