As the other bloke didn't post any more show pics.
Here's a pair of crabs.

More short Audis.

And a Cortina.

The Audi looks a bit more authentic than the one posted a few pages back

I'm fairly sure this and the silver car in the background are genuine.

There was other cars there that fairly sure were not.

Pics on other device.

And here is what I think isn't a genuine shorty ,for the same reasons as the one posted a couple of weeks ago.

rear box arch is wrong.

these 2 were part of some "Hero" organised car tour that stopped outside the show today.

a few other randoms.

Too much screen/A-pillar rake to be a real one.

Nice though.

Yes, rear arches, screen angle and most importantly, no factory right hand drive Sport Quattro.

The 2 at the top look genuine though.

Hmmm I’m not sure any of them are original shortys. I’m 99% confident none were painted silver - why would you repaint? And knowing the price of an original sport Quattro bonnet I ‘d not want to be drilling holes in mine for safety latches or whatever they’re called. Plenty of cars around now built up using 80 windcreens etc.

But if they are original - great thumbup

It seems strange how, whoever designed the replica body-kit, got the rear wing indentation/fake intake in completely the wrong place!

The rally sport quattros had the higher intake aperture whilst the roadgoing sport quattro had the lower indentation similar to the long wheelbase A1 side quarters.

I used to walk past that when I was walking the dog in Bowburn Co Durham.

The owner has been doing it up a little bit for a number of years now. He used to run about in a newer Jaguar as well.

Am I right in thinking that "This car belongs to the Pakistani ambassador."
"Typical, isn't it? I've been out of jail five minutes, and already I'm in a hot car." laugh

No; he's a High Commissioner, Pakistan being in the Commonwealth (at least at the moment).

Sorry, had to be done. This wouldn't be PH without pedantrysmile!

Parrot incoming - I missed the Italian Job reference!
