Looks like the real deal to me. Age is correct. It's LHD and the DVLA says it was first registered here 2014, so clearly a recent import. Not currently taxed/SORN though! Although that may be just a clerical issue. Can't say on value but big money for sure.
Looks to be the real deal - difficult to say from this angle, but likely pukka SV. Very rare colour for a SV too, Verde Metallizzato, only a handful ever built in that colour.Yep, and £1.5m+ price tag.

Saw a very nice, bright yellow, Elan (not sure of model name, it was the larger of the 1960s versions?) driving through Shoreditch this morning, a "mature" couple in there enjoying the ride.
+2 with a silver roof? If so lives in Muswell Hill, he commutes in it every day, it’s pristinejs68 said:

Orange 1970 (H) 911 in greater London area (no pic I'm afraid).
DVLA says first registered 2017, with a 2.5L engine, thoughts? I didn't think they did a 2.5 in the classic.
2.4 for that year ?DVLA says first registered 2017, with a 2.5L engine, thoughts? I didn't think they did a 2.5 in the classic.
Wiki says a 1969 should be a 2.2.

I was sitting on the beach when these 2 drove along the prom, i think they must have stopped at the other end of the prom prior to my seeing them, coz I smelt the distinctive unburnt petrol/oily mixture aroma of worn valves/rings etc. before I saw them - you all know that distinctive whiff of a slightly worn carburettorred engine

I saw this exact car today on the M1 - it was going south towards London, the opposite way to me sadly - I saw it somewhere between Luton and MK ...
Spot of the week, surely..!A car which loomed very large in my childhood, that...

Before my time, but I've been watching the re-runs on "Movies4Men" at the moment. Interesting that sometimes (on screen) it has that plate, rather than BS1.
BS1 was rented from Billy Smart and, as I understand it, had been returned to him before much of the post-production work had been completed, so some of the second unit stuff had to use the car with its original registrationGassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
