There was one occasion where it appeared with both number plates by mistake in the same scene in an episode called 'The Gold Napoleon'...
Well that photo puts paid to the theory that the original reg was used by the second unit. I guess it was just slapdash production then.It was certainly slapdash 'acting'...

I think that's just "of the time", though - I've watched a few things from around that time, with actors who might be thought of now as pretty good, and some of them are terrible.
But let's be honest, Roger Moore was never a particularly decent actor (even in his 'best' film), and Tony Curtis spent too much time mugging and showing off (in all of his films). I believe that The Persuaders was one of Lew Grade's most expensive shows; mainly because of the locations. That says a great deal about the stuff he was churning out. And the actors he hired....
All from today

Interesting one, because Vitesses were only produced as saloons or convertibles. Registered as a Vitesse, presumably rebodied with a Courier. Nice idea.gothatway said:

Nice idea.Coincidently we were discussing this exact car on another thread last week. 14 Vitesse estates also were assembled to special order at Standard-Triumph’s Service Depot at Park Royal in West London. They were nonetheless recognised and written up at the DVA as Vitesse Estates.
