What exactly is the number plate on that Aston? It can't be JB 007 as displayed, it can't be JBO 07 as a leading zero isn't allowed, and it can't be JBOO 7 as that's too many leading letter. Is it a Jersey plate, J 8007?

today at a cars and coffee (most modern sport cars, but also some classics) I spotted a Fiat X1/9 bertone, still like those little Italian Ferraris ;-)
Such 1974 1300cc was once my first ever car, ofcourse by then it had those black striping.
Owned at least 5 different X1/9 over a certain period.

This one was today in Enschede at Grolsch Veste, it had just a little restauration done.

Maybe not that cool but nice to see this Spitfire out on a sunny morning and parked in Morrisons car park

Like the owners parking etiquette - lot's of clear space all around!

Very nice indeed. My next door neighbour has just finished the restoration of his '80s X1/9, I must get a photo some time.

That's "007" - the photo at the top is a film-related photo as the caption notes. Guernsey plates are up to five digits with no letters.

Never mind the Spitty, what were you in that seems to tower over everything?

Oh yeah, that's my wife's Lagonda 2 litre. She just took it for its first shakedown after refitting the supercharger that had been in a box for 15 years.

It’s an 840, but they’re still badass!

Wow.. If that's the original reg it must be one of the very first 840's with the 4.0 V8 most been 4.4 V8.. Would look better in Yellow though....hehe

It is the 4.0 yes, looks like that isn’t the original reg, but I can’t tell you anymore as it must have had so many, HPI can’t keep up and just throws an error!

I miss mine, out of 55 cars its the one I wish I had kept more than any other.

Still underrated. Better in every regard than the Silver Shadow I have now.

I saw this exact car today on the M1 - it was going south towards London, the opposite way to me sadly - I saw it somewhere between Luton and MK ...

Spot of the week, surely..!

A car which loomed very large in my childhood, that... wink
Me too.

Actually saw it once during filming at Osterley House in Isleworth which was used a few times as locations, and Osterley Park was local to us and somewhere we'd go often to walk the dogs.
