Went on a road trip Friday pm to the south coast in the 944 coming back on Saturday and saw the odd classic - 450SL Merc on the A45, couple of Standard 10s in convoy as well, a TR3 on the M3, and that was about it!
Then on Saturday morning we saw my mate's neighbour go off to do a wedding in his Merc ... apparently it had been playing up a bit, so he got his mate to drive the Chesil as back up.

Type 40 -real thing Registration MS7594 was issued to a 1929 Bugatti T38 (chassis 38175) with a Compton four-seater touring body.
The car was broken up in the 1960s, the parts were sold off and the chassis was broken up.
The MS7594 in the picture (and below) is a Bugatti T44 Grand Sport (chassis BC019; "BC" chassis is a Bugatti Club designation for replacement or replica chassis). Grand Sport bodies were made by Bugatti. The DVLA list it as made and registered in 1927.
So when you ask if it's a replica or the real thing, the answer is yes.
