You don't see many Renault 15s about these days...

That was the car my eye was immediately drawn to as well! I'd love a 15 or a 17.

I had a 15TS back in the day , certainly very rare now as predictably they were very rust-prone .

Interesting collection at the local this morning - I had an identical 2000E a few years back - fantastic looks but an agricultural engine...the 840 was in regular use by the garage owner up until a couple of years ago but looks like it is set to share the fate of the X6...

And across the road was this - very tidy

Haven't bagged a photo yet but our new neighbour just up the road has a 1983 / 84 A reg'd Merc 280SL, in red with a black soft top, looks in excellent nick.

I had a black 1977 17TS which I fitted with R18 alloys (three spoke like a Range Rover) on offer from Renault Leeds at £15 each.
Never seen another black one ever, until google images

I sold it with 9 months road tax on it, and six months later a rather large policeman walked into the office and said "Are you the owner of RNE583R?"
it had been seen leaving a bus shelter the previous evening.
I assume rather worse for wear, that is the car, the bus shelter and the driver.

Do you mean three spoke alloys like the five spoke ones on a Range Rover? smile

And I'm pretty sure they aren't alloy... wink

i didn't think the 18 Turbo came with 3 spokes. The old 5 Gordini did back in the day but they were 3 stud and roller skate diameter.

Did you mean these?

The 840 has been sat round the corner for the last year or so - pity because it’s quite tidy

Sorry about the Red Audi lads - No need to get so pedantic over it - after all its only an old tintop - and I'm not into my tintops = to me they're just old shopping trolleys smile
BUT your point is noted I won't be posting any more pics of old AUDI's hereinthumbup

Wonder whether the Ford pedants can find any faults with the XR3
Sorry to drag it up but I've been away for a week (holiday car snaps to follow at some point) but, is that a Gilbern next to the Maestro?
