K-reg would be 1st gen Mk.3, the change over to the square lamps/and different dash etc was autumn 1973 from memory, so M-reg earliest ones.

I remember the dash with the deep dials and the 4 angled ones set in the centre console pointing to the driver....

It has a V8 badge on the side but is designated as GT on the boot - I have no idea if either are true...

According to the DVLA it is a red Ford with a 3946cc engine (Rover ?). Presumably started off as a GT - did they do them as a 4-door ? Looks nice nevertheless - right down to the nodding dog on the parcel shelf.
They did a larger engined Perana version and the Capri too. From South Africa, don't know what size the engine was.
Perana was a 302ci Mustang V8 engine, 4948cc

V8 Granada for sale in SA.

Yours for 170k Rand, or about 10 Grand which sounds far cheaper.

That's right, the ones you couldn't actually read because they were so badly positioned! The ride on the GT was absolutely appalling as well - the softer sprung GXL was much better to drive.

SLC. Nice.

I have a 6 Cylinder CE.
M110? Good engine that.

I used to do some work on a very early 1978 230C, the old carburettor silver top SOHC unit. It was a pea green colour and had done about 200'000 miles.

I've seen this 928 several times on the M6 near Birmingham battling it out in the rush hour. Indeed I posted a photo of it a couple of pages ago.

Brightened up my commute again today as I was behind it from Walsall to the Aston Expressway.

Driven by a lady, I'm assuming it is a daily driver, but well done madam, you are a hero! bow

The first 928 I saw was on the M4 in about 1977 or 78. I wasn't hanging about and the 928 just rolled past. It wasn't in any hurry, it was just going a hell of a lot quicker than I was. Composure. That's the word. It had composure.

Always enjoy a visit from this customer.

Last week, a freshly restored '59 Lotus Elite:

Previous visits have included a Porsche 356, and a rare Lanchester Wingham Cabriolet as well as Aston V8, Ferrari 355, Rover P5…

He has a Ferrari Daytona currently being prepared. Look forward to seeing that one.

I was saddened to see a BRG mk1 or 2 Spitfire this afternoon. It was on the back of a low loader with its nose folded back quite badly. Hopefully the damage may prove to be superficial and fixable.
