Not a Skoda 1201, it doesn't have the high and front curved bonnet and is lacking 2 of the Skoda's doors, Longer overhang at the front, wrong shape.

It does look a bit like that but it isn't. Also it's been in a crash at both ends. The front bumper is messed up and the headlight has popped out plus the rear bumper is dragging on the ground and there's a bit of a crease in the bodywork at the back. That's a French Policeman probably strolling over to have a word with the owner. biggrin

Want to say early 356 sort of thing, sticking with the German theme, some form of Borgward Hansa coupe?

It's not a Saab, Porsche, AutoUnion, Glas, or Alpine as the rear wheel arch shape and roof profile are very unique.

As suggested on the other thread, It has to be a Panhard CD

I agree that it looks quite Panhard-like but the CD coupe doesn't quite fit - look at where a line continuing from the A pillar intersects the front wheel arch.

The only bit wrong is the wheelarch...

Aston Martin DB Mark III

(Though i'd still argue it's 356-related)

Close but the A pillar/window is too pointy and the front wing is far too long between door line and wheel and no sign of the line on the wing.
