Mind you, at the rate they keep appearing and of values keep going up there will soon be more today than we're ever built. wink

Good point. smile

Personally, not my cup of tea as the conversion spoils the ethos of the RR. Takes away all of its utility.

If you want a convertible, buy a convertible wink

I think they are 15" Wolfrace T5 or Turbines? I've a set on my 2 door.

Do a Mytyres search on 235/70/16 and see what’s available. Should be some modern SUV tyres such as Continental Cross Contact and Michelin Latitudes.

Anglia Car Auctions have a low mileage one coming up, will be interesting to see in the real world where this ends up

I suspect it will end up in the £8-10K range. The appetite for 2 doors doesn’t seem to be slowing up. Being an original uk RHD car seems to add a premium, and the mot history above hints at it not being a basket case, which means it could go for more.
£15k plus premium. I felt it was "all the money" and then some, but at least the buyer was in the room and actually saw the car before parting with the cash! Let's just be kind and say that bidding blind on this one would have been a mistake.....

Got 255 Toyo Open Country on these wheels on mine but tbh they measured no wider than a set of 235s

Scorpion verde seem popular at 235. I have 255 on mine and they look a bit chunky for a stock road car so I'll be changing to 235 when I get around to it.

I wanted more of an all round tyre, so I have a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3’s in 235/70 to go on.

I have set of them on one of my other cars and they are very good so far, and they have M&S logo if you venture on to the continent in winter.

Seems like a good price for something that will need quite a bit of work.

Can you remember what the Fiat convertible went for? That seemed to be an ok little buy.

That 124 did look an attractive and fun little thing.

£5,700 + premium. It was a bit of a "ten footer". Good paintjob but signs of deterioration almost everywhere else.

Thanks, seems like an ok price even with work needed.

Cheers, Steve

From memory Trocadero Red should be silver. The same ones are on my 91MY Ardennes Green (excuse the rubbish picture), they look absolutely great.

It's been a while since I've posted here, progress on my RRC has ground pretty much to a halt with other stuff going on in life. I don't think it's going to be with me much longer frown

On another subject, any love for the Range Rover's younger brother, the Discovery? About 4 months ago I purchased a very early and very original 200Tdi 3 door (smooth boot handle, smooth footwell trims, console bag, no extra demist vents etc.). Many similarities between both, going to enjoy comparing them back to back when I have time.
