Is that a pair of fluffy dice spotted in the Dolly?
Good luck with the sale, they're both lovely old things - having a clear out in order to buy more cack?
Cheers. The dice now live in my UMM which I gave to my brother for Xmas.Is that a pair of fluffy dice spotted in the Dolly?

Clear out yes, but no purchases in view. Major (hopefully positive) life changes afoot.
Cheers all. If I keep one and store it should it be the Dolomite or the Lotus? At present, the Dolomite is the one most likely to reach £10K first*, although longer term the Lotus may overtake it in a few years, but I don't buy for investment value. I do love the Dolly, and it is BL, but I also have a serious 70s Lotus fetish. It is one of my biggest regrets that I sold the 1972 Europa Special that suggested my PH name. It is in a collection in Hong Kong and probably never turns a wheel.
I also love Italian cars, but the Lancia isn't going to stay.
* I have seen a few Sprints advertised at 10K plus, but I reckon that the best one in the world isn't quite worth 10K yet. The alleged best Eclat in the world is on sale for well over 10K, but probably won't get that.

Clear out continues - I sold the XJS and also two motorbikes, and have just sold the Dolomite. There is a bloke umming and ahhing about the Lancia but I think he may well buy it. I think I may keep the Lotus, although someone left a note asking about it on the windscreen the other day. It currently has a problem with its driver's door that needs fixing before sale anyway.
I will keep the Sherpa van and lend it to my brother long term as he is a keen festival goer. I gave him the UMM for Christmas. The one remaining motorbike might be going on a mystery journey, but of that more anon.
Spring must be approaching because, after getting very little response to the adverts over Xmas, in the last week or so the phone and email have been pinging

I wish that I could claim that sell off compelled by all of the above reasons, especially driving bans for egregious hoonage (or middle lane hat wearing), long prison sentences for gross moral turpitude, long spells in rehab, and so on, but alas the reasons are much more mundane and to do with relocations and what not. I may however keep the Lotus and the Morini and the Sherpa. Ii have been looking at ads for other things recently but MUST RESIST.
Dolomite now with new owners in Ealing. Two delightful Sikh dudes whose dad had a Sprint in the 70s. I have first refusal if they ever decide to sell it.
