Another mystery car

Believe this thread has almost reached a natural end unless car or further info turns up? In other words, cannot think of any other avenue for PH forum to pursue.
Crowd funding to build it? Show it for a few years, photograph it in Oxford Street, then sell and perhaps recoup some of the intial build cost? (I’m saying this with no knowledge of how much it would cost to make!)Edited by _Sorted_ on Monday 9th July 07:49

That's what I think, also as I have said before, I believe the back slopes down like a boat tail between the rear wings rather than the kamm tail. I think that Sorted;s excellent work needs to make the front cover of Classic car Magazine and/or Classic and Sportscar Magazine, somewhere in the supermarkets or shops somebody may see it who may know something. I think it is the only chance of any of us ever knowing what this car is.Edited by piper on Wednesday 11th July 16:50

Re magazines. Thanks for the thought and this is going to sound chippy, but when classic car magazine staff start acting like proper journalists and report on things like the J D Classics scenario, as opposed to acting like advertorial and suppressing same, I will agree for my work to be distributed by them. Until then, please pass around internet. More effective probably in any case.

I have now in fact emailed both magazines with my suggestion, not knowing what this car is is driving me to despair as I expect is the case with a lot of people,Edited by piper on Wednesday 11th July 16:50

I always assumed the back end would be similar to a Harrington Alpine.
Top work sorted.
I totally agree with you. Have bought some parts (screen, overrider and wheel trim) to help with getting design correct. Also used some of back catalogue of parts created in CAD previously. Really wanted to find out and buy whatever rear light cluster the car below, being your Harrington Alpine (I believe) had to add to model. Seems a much better design than I came up with. Put it this way. If someone can find and loan me this part, will see if works on model.Top work sorted.
NB: Obviously all this an opinion as at present not enough info to go definitive.
