That's a cracking find! - I have been looking for that for ages - thanks very muchI recall that film being shown at my school in a motoring film club that was being run when I first started.
It exhibited all sorts of motoring and motor sport films that were so prevalent at the time.
I guess that film was probably around 1966 or 1967....
Always liked Spencer Davis Group and Steve Winwood.
Great times.

Excellent find, thanks for sharing.
I used to own one of the cars in that film. Not one of the exotic ones unfortunately, but the little Fiat 1100 shown passing at 22.57. Mine was in a dirty grey colour, RHD but had the suicide doors as shown.
Thinking back it would have been around 73 - 74, which makes me feel old now.
Edit to add screen shot: -

Hmmm; the version you are looking at was filmed from a screen. I suggest you look here to get a clearer picture:-

I think you'll see it is a C registration, and anyway, if it was a K reg, it'd be a V12. Never mind.

Here's an interesting tale regarding the 'Pirelli Tortoise and Hare' film. As most know the film was released in 1967, starring Liz Allsopp and the white E-Type. In 1967 my near neighbour was, and still is, a big Healey fan and was attending a Healey Club evening where Pirelli were promoting the Cinturato by showing the Tortoise and Hare film. Pirelli were also handing out the well known map that accompanied the Tortoise and Hare film...one side depicts multiple film shots and editorial by Hudson and Brownjohn, the other a full map of Italy highlighting the film route from Napoli to the northern borders via the Autostrada del Sole.
Well, last night, sat in the neighbour's kitchen chewing the classic car cud, up came the film in discussion and my neighbour saying, 'We have one of the original maps from a Healey film evening in 1967...and it was this film that sorted out our honeymoon in 1968!' It transpires that the honeymoon brainwave was to motor to Italy and drive the same route as the Pirelli film. Then, as the Autostrada del Sole only ran to Napoli, continue south via A roads and onwards to Sicily for the 1967 Targa Floria...spend some good honeymooning time in Sicily and then motor back to England at a leisurely pace. On 1967 roads this meant a round trip of some 4000 miles...all in a little Healey Sprite!

Now...I wonder where one could get one of those maps now??Well, last night, sat in the neighbour's kitchen chewing the classic car cud, up came the film in discussion and my neighbour saying, 'We have one of the original maps from a Healey film evening in 1967...and it was this film that sorted out our honeymoon in 1968!'
