Wolseley Hornet Special?
RJ
Yes, it looks just like one to me, particularly the shape and rake of the radiator cowl and the arrangement of the headlamp struts.RJ
Edited at add:
GX6585 is 1932 Wolseley Hornet Daytona Special, with a body built by Abbey Coachworks for Eustace Watkins (the main Wolsley agent in London).
The name OTAZEL on the bonnet of the car in mgw123's photograph was the name of a WW1 Mk1 Tank: HMLS (His Majesty's Land Ship) Otazel (Hot-as-hell).

Thanks for your contributions chaps.
The rather handsome man in the picture is my late Grandfather and he owned this car for a number of years, I would love to track it down and buy it!
Perhaps my next stop should be the Wolseley owners club.
Thanks again
Matt
