He’s also got a W126 and a pair of Nissan Cima V8s, one of which is registered on the road. So, a handful of V8s plus a V12 just parked and slowly rotting away
Cima and a W126 becoming hedgerow…Yup, 560 SEL just rotting away
I had it in my head that it was a 380, but I think I’ve got it confused with a 380SEC in the same colour that lives locally.

Walked past this today - the hedgerow/W126 interface has been trimmed back revealing…

When I dropped my car at the inde Merc garage, I remarked on a very sad, very tired, SL600 V12 in for work. The receptionist said the owner bought it last year as a going concern, has spent £8,000 on it so far, "And it's still a bag of st." How much it would cost to restore a hedgerow 560 doesn't bear thinking about.Yup, 560 SEL just rotting away

A friend came across this at a site he’s working on. It will most likely be scrapped. My Dad had a Humber Sceptre with the registration ALJ777B. It must be a sign.
Some more pics of the Quattro. It’s going to need a bonnet and probably a door. It’s got the usual rust at the bottom of the screen but door bottoms and sills look ok. Edited by Spydaman on Wednesday 22 February 14:59

November '77 998cc so it's a MkIV, not that many left from this period compared to the '60s Minis. The original owner has splashed a few quid on a heated rear screen - luxury!
I have a heated rear screen for a MklII (onwards) Mini. I have no idea how I obtained it. I have only every had 2 minis, both are MKIIs and both are estates. PomBstard said:

Although they look very similar from the rear, you can tell the coupe as it has a full width chrome strip on the bootlid above the lightsYup, 560 SEL just rotting away

What do you reckon: 12 seats? 6 mpg? This place near the M3 has had long wheelbase stuff slowly rotting outside for years.

The building work wasn't exactly rushed either.

Finally got a chance to get a picture of this Citroen today, on an industrial estate just outside Stroud.
Has been hiding under a cover like the car next to it for the last few years, hopefully that means it's about to get some love. DVLA says it's meant to be green and hasn't been on the road since 1986!
Edit: uploader makes the plate look like MBY 161L which comes back as a white Citroen that was last taxed in 1983 but is 602cc, guessing a long-dead 2CV, but it's actually MBY 181L and has a 2670cc engine.
