These 2 never move,parked on grass,floors won't be good.

Walked past this many times, mostly at night, didn't notice its growing mouldy.

I think that 911 Cab was on a few pages back, wasn't it? Still there then.

900 just like the one above currently falling to bits in a street about a mile away.

Been on here before. Surprised with parking on the yellow lines that hasnt been clamped - knowing what Oxford parking attendants are like.
Makes you wonder what's in the garages behind.

Sorry about the quality of some, had to grab them from my Instagram. The red XJS and Spitfire aren't exactly abandoned either as they're regular seen driving around. The guy who owns both also has the 944 faded to light pink and covered in moss at the bottom. The Spitfire has a nice "My other car's a Porsche" sticker on it too.
A couple of those are near me, in Carrington and Mapperley Park in Nottingham!

Literally 5 mins walk from me, then!

The rear spoiler on that ragged 280zx reminds me of the first generation RX7.

I'd be very tempted by the ratty Spit.

a fascinating read, catching up on the thread... interesting question being raised as to why people let cars get into this state, but at a personal level I can understand smile it is easy to see lots of exciting plans but not have the time or money to sort it out...

I got rid of the series 2 earlier this year, but still have the mgb gt sitting in storage waiting for time to restore it, and am doing a rolling restoration of the RR (which could end up on this thread if anyone spotted it, but it is being driven every day!)

lots of opportunities and I am sure I am not the only person following this thread who sees each post as another project we could take on!

This must be a contender for 'left to die/rotting pics'

It's not particularly ratty - the owner never washes it. You see it driving around Nottingham relatively frequently.

So, archeologists are digging up – and computer modelling – sites that date all the way back to 1962? One of those historical 'dark ages', about which we know very little.

Yup. Yet in a long running thread on here no one can identify a car that was photographed in 1962 and probably made around that time.

We went down to the 'ring last weekend for the DTM. The weather could've been better, on Saturday the DTM qualifying was on wets, but on Sunday the track was dry enough for slicks. But I digress: on the way back home on Monday spotted this rather eclectic mix of cars in Niederadenau.
There was nobody in the garage I could ask about the story, so I just took a few pics, and drove on back home. Maybe I can find out more the next time we're down there.
