No pics yet, but I'll get a few. Spotted a genuine 1992, 60.000 mile Jaguar XJS-R with a manual gearbox (rather rare I guess?) on a farmers lawn. It's been off the road since 2004, didn't look all that worse for wear from a distance, but I imagine that standing on grass for a decade and a half hasn't done the underside any favors...

Came across a strange boarded-up neglected suburban semi with these two outside. Both cars packed with junk, and a third Triumph saloon totally overgrown behind them. Vauxhall Senators were all the rage with the sales guys in the office a few years ago.

The home of a recluse? Or had someone died there?

And the Police, who kindly offered to let me sit in the back of one.

That's how I remember it, was along time ago when I had mine (PNR 469M, where are you now!). I think main beam was push forward on the indicator stalk.

I'd say that floor mounted dip switch was a BMC thing, but maybe other did it, I don't remember Ford having them.
Triumph TR 2-3-4's also have floor mounted high beam switches. They work great when motoring along the lanes at night smile
So did Morris Minors - so when I was mucking around in Dover Ambulance Station garage when I was about 14 (my Dad was a mechanic there) i pressed the button on the floor of a Bedford J series - and the two tone horns came on, loud as hell in a closed garage!

This must be a contender for 'left to die/rotting pics'
So, archeologists are digging up – and computer modelling – sites that date all the way back to 1962? One of those historical 'dark ages', about which we know very little.
Yup. Yet in a long running thread on here no one can identify a car that was photographed in 1962 and probably made around that time.
It was those pesky kids after all. A bloke has just admitted that him and his mates used to play in the MG by pushing it up and down the hill until one day they attempted to start from slightly higher up...

Looking at their website: https://www.angusbmw.co.uk/car-sales/ , these are just old cars & modern classic cars for sale at a garage.

Does the fact that they don't seem to be selling very quickly qualify them for this thread? confused

Fortunately the owner had the foresight to cover it up with a tarpaulin, so when they get round to restoring it it shouldn't be too much work..... errr maybe not!

Sold the 635 in September 2014 to another mad fella from Poland when the MoT fail sheet turned out to be longer than my arm.

Have been without a "classic" until relatively recently - bought a 1988 Citroën CX GTi Auto; bringing it home next weekend. That should add a few miles to the 79,000 that its six previous owners have managed to put on it in 29 years.
