I was trying to save this Daimler from being scrapped, as I'm sure it will be of use/interest to someone.

Could the knowledgeable people on here please let me know what model and year it is?
1938/9 Lanchester Roadrider shares the same body/chassis.

Daimler version is the 'New Fifteen' apparently, but I can't find any photos to back this up.

Thanks for your reply!

Located near Stratford in East London.

Have walked past this many times, one of the local cats is often walking about on top of it, appropriate choice for that feline. Can't find the photo I got of the beast on the car so this one will have to do.

Anyone remember the two MGBs in Old Oak Common Lane, NW10...? I drove past a couple of weeks ago and noticed the blue '67 BGT has gone, the yellow rubber bumpered Roadster is still there though.

That Jag has languished for 15 years - my guess is it'll never see the road again (apart from to be towed away for scrap)

Both spotted whilst out stalking today. Crappy pics but it was pissing down and I was preoccupied looking for wildlife to kill.

That's the farmer who 'saved' them from being scrapped by buying them at MOD auctions a good number of years back outbidding scrap metal merchants. Forgot all about this. He has some wonderful stuff there inc a Hawker Hunter and a Seahawk and a Gloster Meteor.

I'm no expert, but harking back to my Dinky planes of decades ago, I think I see two Vixens, a Meteor, a Jet Provost, a Hunter ... and what's the brown one ?

A mate of mine sent me this photo over the weekend. An early Mini 1275 GT with a webasto roof, and a Saab 900 2.0 16v Cab. Both residing in a well tucked away but council owned parking facility eek The owner of the Saab apparently has passed away and has no family, and he is attempting to buy the Mini. The conversation ended very abruptly when I asked him where they are !

I've sent that link to my dad and asked him if he ever flew any of them. Might be a story or two.

Having a mooch around the council lockup area (near my new storage), nothing truly interesting really, just an old VW LT, Volvo 940 saloon and an old Daihatsu fourtrack.

Oh and these two. The E36 is in worse condition than the picture shows, paint/lacquer peel and a bit of moss here and there.

Probably due to be sorted fairly quickly, so nobody best "liberate" them from their current owner biggrinlaugh

Spotted one myself, not in the same league of deterioration but in need of some TLC. SORN'd and no MOT history. It was left here for ages but has now since disappeared:
