Sat on top of a container in a reclamation yard, you can just see another at the back of the yard..

Blimey, a forward control Land Rover from Judge Dredd! Wonder how they got their hands on that?

Ex- Gaydon Museum, probably off loaded during one of their periodical clear outs.

Just had a look on old Streetview and it seems it's not a one off!
There's dark blue XJ Coupe with broken glass under a tarp in another of the garden that doesn't look like it's moved in years.

I remember one being on eBay a fair while back, but can't remember the provenance. Might have just been cluttering up a studio back lot until someone got fed up of tripping over it.

Sadly, probably more desirable as a forward-control than as a movie prop from one of the most appallingly bad films ever made. Although.... Diane Lane... cloud9 Mmmmm....

...nope, not even worth watching it for her yuck

I'd assumed that all the dirt and mildew had accumulated while it was on the driveway, but it seems it was in that condition when the Landrover Centre sold it.

Anyone know what this one is (not the Golf!) ?

Black or dark green. Was there last year. Not been that way for a while so can't say if it is still there.

Original 1967 GT40 (GT40P/1070) "destroyed" in a fire in 1970 then rebuilt in the 2000's. As it was after the fire and many years of rot.

Original 1967 GT40 (GT40P/1070) running to a 1965 specification. It was originally a road car, sold to the States new. Raced in a couple of club events. In 1970 it crashed and caught fire caused by an exploding fuel tank where it was "destroyed". Law suit against Ford and the tank manufacturer. Remains sold in 1974 then rebuilt in the 2000's.

Thanks to both of you who replied for clearing that up.

Small world - the pic of the Saracen on the transporter is actually of it being delivered to the house in my pic.
