Looks like the rear end is losing the fight with gravity, unless its a funny angle on the driveway.
They have self levelling rear suspension which drops to the floor when pressure drops but that will be the least of the owners worries. Sadly I doubt anyone will ever want to take that project on due to the price and availability of parts.

The 400i/412i series is a hard sell, even for cars in good condition. They're not that sporty being such a big car (especially with the GM 3 speed auto - which the majority are), they're big, incredibly thirsty, and a bit of an acquired taste, as they're not what the majority of people think of, when they think of a Ferrari.
I can't really explain why, but personally speaking, I've always had a soft spot for the 400i/412i. They're a nice, simplistic design, in a similar manner to the FIAT 130 Coupe, and they have a certain presence about them.
Based on how long that one has been sat on the driveway, I seriously doubt it would be for sale anyway - Something tells me that that car is destined to sit there rotting away until the home owner dies, and someone with less attachment to it, has to remove it.

Totally. I'd love a lovely deep blue metallic 412i for burbling to the pub on a sunday lunchtime, or to keep down in "the Monaco house" for use there during the summer! There is something very majestic about them.Edited by Dapster on Saturday 9th June 14:40
This old bus used to be a daily driver - I'd see it out and about with an old boy behind the wheel - flat capped with dog end hanging out the corner of his mouth, Then one day I noticed it in this state. It seems it was parked up and someone misjudged the central island and smacked into it, pushing it into the kerb. It hasn't moved for about 4 months.
The front wheels are facing different directions, and you can see the rest of the damage. Rest of the car looks straight and it's totally original - no horrid chrome arches, or stick on tints. Seems its next stop will be that great Mercedes Workshop in the sky.

Weirdly the 400/412 series has always been my favourite Ferrari
I guess I'll never have one, but it's a shame to see that one deteriorating by the day. I wonder what it was like when it was parked there?
If it's a manual (unlikely, but you never know), it will at least have some valuable bits in it

I very nearly bought one @ 20 years ago when they were @ £5K for a good condition car, but it was one of those situations where buying the car, and running the car were two completely different matters - the fuel bill for the daily commute through the city to work and back would have been crippling for a start off, and back then if you needed new exhausts, it would cost almost as much as the car did, so I walked away from it.
I'd still take one over a Rolls, Bentley or Aston for wafting around in if I had the chance, as you say there is something very majestic about them, they just look so elegant for a big car.
If you're trying to sell a gaff for £3.5m you might want to drag the dead Merc off the drive and tidy the place up a bit!

Blimey, sorry to go off topic but my first reaction on seeing the house details is drive the price down, flatten Fawlty Towers & build anew. Even Llewellyn Bowen would baulk at some of the rooms! Might be a nice area though, don't want to bash The Bishop's Avenue
Sorry, I really must get out round the island & post some pics on here. Spotted a Lada Niva in Jurby looking somewhat forlorn, not sure if that would count.

Probably would be a good idea to hide the oil heater and dehumidifier. Damp problem and heating issues? Also I assume the bunk beds and CRT are in the staff quarters?https://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/47922793...

At that price point you're just buying the plot. The assumption would be the new buyer wouldn't even bother to refurbish but just level it and start again. A new build Russian Oligarch spec palace on Bishops Ave would be 5 - 10 times the price.Sorry, I really must get out round the island & post some pics on here. This is a more modest offering.

Suffice to say, if you fancy a bit of Bentley spotting, this is the place to do it.....

Useful to know that I’ll need to pay £79k a month to meet my monthly mortgage payment on Nat West’s standard rate for this property. A steal !This is a more modest offering.

Went on holiday to Corfu, this little chopped 126 was round the corner from where I stayed
Some less interesting tin round the corner
Also spotted a few more backed into a small plot in Corfu town, Citroen Visa and some sort of Communist Fiat variant
