Oxford reg, it’s a long way from home.
RFC303W, last taxed 2003 but it would have been pretty rotten even then. It would have come from Hartwells on Botley road who I used to use for mine. Looks like an early HE with Starfish wheels and the stripes.Won't be a manual in that case. That'd be the one useful thing left!
The wreck is a 67, the best of the years in my opinion as it had the cleanest lines and also the little vent 1/4 windows.
I have another 67, in much better shape, the pictured one was a spares car I broke a while ago but I have the shell in my yard just because it still looks cool even as a ruin.

I doubt that's the original number of the car.Won't be a manual in that case. That'd be the one useful thing left!
A lot of folks in Lewis have a special affinity for the initials RFC
I will admit it isn't exactly a car classified site, BUT...

just been on youtube looking at one of the urban explorer sites and found one from 2018 showing a airbase with thousands of cars from the 2009 scrappage thing that are still stored just rotting away.Even today a good lot of these cars could be made use of but I suppose that would be against the idea of the scheme.
Just seems such a waste
