Two Sud Sprints?
Well spotted. Yes, that's a second one behind the TR tucked next to the van.

1982 Hyundai Pony, the first Korean car to be sold in the UK. Believed to be the only example left:

Just over a decade ago things looked much more promising, seen here looking immaculate at a car show (not my photo):

The rot has set in on this one. Remains of some sort of 'wanted' message under the wipers.

Can't see much worth saving there tbh. BMC "A" series engine isn't particularly special, the rest is just locost type and not special either. Worth more as scrap and would be cheaper if you were interested in something related to start with just an A series running engine and gearbox!

Would be interested to see a few more pics of that, it does have a few early Lotus Seven influences in the chassis arrangement and also inc the A series

Given the handbrake under the dash, the A frame axle and the front ARB top link, I am pretty sure it's a S2 Lotus Seven.

In which case it is worth something if it was fully restored.

Although seeing as pretty much the only thing there worth saving is the registration/chassis ID and it would be an entire new build round the chassis plate I'm still not convinced it would be worth it!

This horrible old knacker was parked next to the Seven.

Is that a trailer mounted HIAB? I could use one of those if its for hire.
Nice TVR by the way.

Indeed it is a trailer mounted HIAB, but it was organised by the chap I bought the TVR from. Sadly I have no contact details.

There's a lot of similarities to an S2 Seven but there are also a few things there that don't match.
Bracing in boot area
Ali over the top of the tube behind the seats
Diagonal bracing side panels near seat/legs although I added these to my S2

But the headlight.wing mounts, master cylinder mounts, tubes around the engine bay are similar
What is the front suspension?

And that one is a Cosworth (1500cc pre crossflow Ford and worth rather more.
I'm still not totally convinced it's genuine but there's a lot that looks right.

The data plate is still there and in the right place, shame you can't make it out. If its still there I would be interested in it.
