This is parked just off the main street in Herne Bay, fairly basic Cortina but can't remember there being that many 2 door saloons about

I thought I had a memory of the 2 door being a 1300 - but DVLA reckons its a 2 litre. Tax last due 1997, so its lasting well...

The 2dr Cortina V was only sold in 1300 form in RHD. Other markets got better engined ones, same with the 3dr Sierra.

I remember reading an article on the Crayford Cortina convertible where they struggled to get a rhd 2dr in 2.0 format because Ford computer says no.

What's parked next to the white Uno? If it is a Uno that is.

I think the white car is a Lancia Y10.

I think the other one in a Honda Prelude.

Good shout but I thought the Prelude is much wider and the indicators are thinner and longer....?

Austin A35 not far from me. The guy also has a Morris Minor and an old Mk1 Humber Sceptre.

No idea if the two-door version is especially rare.

could be a Merc specialist but not seen any signs adverts...

Bit late with this one but my mate just sent it today - New Hampshire in 2012, a tasty looking Urraco...

Bonus Countach tucked away somewhere, no info on this one... may even be a replica...

Looks like Italian kitchen towel on the tea tray, so may be the real deal? Countach QV.

Edit: now not so sure. Black tail light surrounds and black panel around the exhaust pipes look a bit odd. Maybe a replica, maybe an “updated” older Countach, maybe real? I don’t know.

That's quite close to my place, and all I've ever seen is more and more moss-covered old sheds. Noone arriving, leaving, lurking or anything like that. Strange.

Was it on here where there was a video of the DB4 being rescued and restored?
