I can finally contribute to this thread, while not classics these have been languishing here for at least 2-3 years!!!

And before any smartarses say there's only one, there are two more in front of it!!!
So you admit they're not classics, but because they've been dumped somewhere, you decide to put the in the "Classics left to die/rotting pics - Vol 2" section any way?

What next? - A 2018 Mondeo that has been parked in a pay and display car park an hour past the expiry time on it's parking ticket? confused
Easy, Tiger! The joy in this sort of stuff is not necessarily in WHAT the cars are but in speculating WHY they are there - the back story. Did someone keep having recurring failures and chose to abandon and replace, rather than fix? Did the owner buy them as a stash of spares? Was someone planning to build a 12-wheeled, super Mondeo? Were they abandoned after a bank job? (OK, less likely, but you get what I mean).

If it's in Tipton, shouldn't there be an 'oss on the grass?

Disclaimer, I've got a DY4 postcode! boxedin

Currently taxed too, so not rotting too much - comes up as an early 1159cc version, the skins on the local rice pudding will be safe biggrin

1300 GLS and it too had a DY4 postcode. Doesn’t require tax though.

Yeah, it's exempt but is "taxed" rather than SORNed. The grill's from a GLS, but I suspect that's a later addition.

Lovely ...

It might be dead, but it certainly isn't rotting (well the body isn't).

The yellow handles are particularly sought after.

When the wind blows the cover comes off and a few days later goes back on -each time slightly more shredded

What's the score with this special edition Esprit then? Values are well up on these things and a catpiss tarp will be wrecking whatever's left of the finish.

Spotted whilst in Upstate New York for the Christmas holidays. Rusty, dented and looked held together by caulk and putty.

But I'm not sure what it is...

Front end looked like a 240/280Z, but can't identify the rest of it.

May try to get a closer look this weekend.

Classic or not ,the RRS hasn't done a lot of miles ,only 52000 in 2016,

parked for about 2 years.
Didn't even bother trying for an MOT in 2017.

Nowt classic there I'm afraid.

It's more likely it's the local dealers' pool car and it's one of the dealers who's been left to die/rot. Maybe in the boot.
