Very clever but who or what is that aimed at?https://www.alfaholics.com/our-cars/current-builds...
Not sure it'll be race legal, no one would want to use it on the road still dressed in bare CF would they?
Spotted this yesterday on a bike ride.
It’s on a disused train line bike route from Scarborough to Robin hoods bay, I think it’s somewhere near Ravenscar. It’s been there at least 2 years to my knowledge, but looks like more considering the amount of mould/ moss that’s accumulated. Volvo 760? I’m not a Volvo nerd.

Somehow this thread became my introduction to PistonHeads and quite an intro it has been! Quite entertaining. Being a California, The Colonies native seeing the speed with which vehicles recycle themselves in The Home Country is quite the education. As a PistonHead for the last probably 60 of my 63 years, the seeing some of the old cars from the dreams of my youth decomposing has reminded me of the classic in my own front yard: A ’91 Audi 200 Quattro 20v Avant 5MT. They only made about 50 of them and it has become something of the Holy Grail for Audi collectors.
I was completely unaware of this and left it out in the elements for the last 17 years with a broken timing belt. For some reason, I didn’t get it fixed right away when it broke and spent the ensuing years on other more shiny projects. Seeing the state of many of the cars in this thread motivated me to get the old girl off to someone who would actually do something with her so posted up on Craigslist and found a guy in Vermont who was going to make her whole.
I’ve attached some pictures and you can see, considering the length of time she was in the weather, things really didn’t get out of hand. That’s the great thing about the climate out here; it takes awhile for cars to turn to dirt. You can find classic Brit and Euro sports cars with remarkably intact bodies for remarkably low prices. Only problem: You guys drive on the wrong side of the road!

Love that! And a late model 20v as well. Yours should have been an Audi 5000 if it was US spec. Did yours have the UFO brakes - caliper inside the disk?Remember Ferris's dad had one (albeit the saloon). Not quite as glamorous as Cameron's dad's 250 GT California Spyder but a rare spot in an American movie. Audi must have paid handsomely to get it in.

That looks like it's going to need a lot of cash and work to get it back on the road, or is it being bought to part out (not being up with prices for these)rdcyclist said:

A model that we never got in the UK, but very similar mechanically to the urS4/S6 which we did get and which were great cars.I was completely unaware of this and left it out in the elements for the last 17 years with a broken timing belt.
