The decrepit A30 has gone from this bloke's front garden and been replaced by two Morris Minors, - one a pick-up without the rear body and also what looks like a 1300GT or similar ... not sure if it's an estate from memory. Could you get a 1300GT estate? Edit: google tells me it is not a GT - that had the double bars on the grille. Either a plain old 1100 or a 1300 Mk III (1971-74).
Taken through the window of a porsche 944, I think...Edited by uk66fastback on Wednesday 10th March 02:05

Certainly is, a very posh and desirable car in 1980.
The wife of our milkman had one in the same colour brand new, at a time when a milk round on an ever expanding new housing estate could bring untold riches. The milkman on an even bigger estate in an even bigger neighbouring city (Newcastle) had a Lotus Esprit Turbo and a matching Elite for the wife.
A truly great realm, where milkmen are held in high honour. The wife of our milkman had one in the same colour brand new, at a time when a milk round on an ever expanding new housing estate could bring untold riches. After ruining the thread talking crap about milkmen I'm guilted into doing something positive and sticking some pictures up.
These were nicked from David Salamone's Facebook page (he of the Italian Job connections). I don't know a lot about him but it seems his family's car dealing business exposed him to some seriously nice metal over the years. A very nice man and very generous with his time when he called me from France to answer questions I had asked him about the movie. He certainly didn't have to, and he must be sick of people twittering on about it, but he said he preferred to chat as he suffered from dyslexia and hated typing.

Interesting pics but these have NOTHING to do with this thread. This is for classics left to die/ rotting. I’d hate to think you were ruining the thread. These were nicked from David Salamone's Facebook page (he of the Italian Job connections). Not sure if this completely meets the requirements of the thread as, unbelievably, it appears to have a valid MOT! It certainly caught my eye though - not a single panel in the right place and big gaps around the hood. It had just been pissing with rain too.
Parked on the street in Nottingham.
That's pretty cool if it's a scruffy daily. Parked on the street in Nottingham.

Thread ruined. None of these cars are classics that have been left to die or are rotting These were nicked from David Salamone's Facebook page (he of the Italian Job connections). What is the red car in the foreground? I can't identify the slot at the leading edge of the bonnet (assuming it's rear engined).Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
