A very rare 3000S as well. 1976/77 so an R or possibly S plate in Saturn gold. These were manual only, trimmed to L spec, uprated suspension with Bilstein dampers, and that three spoke steering wheel.

Sorry to disappoint but I actually owned that car over thirty years ago. It’s a basic 2.0L with a pinto engine. I put in a Ghia interior and added the rare 3000S steering wheel. I then sold it and it has belonged to a friend ever since who has done many trips to Scotland and back in it, and it was only laid up many years ago because the brakes were shot. Sadly now it’s probably too far gone to be saved.

But you’re right about one thing - it’s an R reg.

The 'garage' on the A49 - in Prees Heath...by chance?
Yes, that’s the one!

The old Humber has been slowly deteriorating for years, but inside the garage are some nicer, possibly even roadworthy, jalopies.

Interesting that it's got odd wheels on it, (especially the Speedex on the back!) Any more info?

Seen today by busy Wolverhampton road. May have been on here before but can’t be bothered looking back. I know....just tired.

There's been a knackered car of some description at that spot since as long as Google Streetview can remember! Neighbours must love them.

Just dropped my van off at the garage for an Mot and noticed they've been modernising and tidying up, this is the only one of Dave's old heaps left now.

Another Vauxhall showing a bit of rust, it's always been inside though, imagine what it would be like if he'd left it outside!

I'll try and find out where the other ones went when I go back later to pick it up.

I’ve posted this TVR before but when it was in a different location.

It moved to its current resting place a few years ago.

Not my cup to tea but I’m sure it’ll get a lot of love on here.

It’s looking quite sorry for itself now.

The orange paint has faded somewhat on the top and something has gone down the side of it.

Don’t suppose dents or rust will be an issue.

West Bridgford,? It was on blocks at its last place in Edwalton for years, I did see it once at the new place when driving past

Yep, it’s in West Bridgford. Still with the same owner.
Wonder what’s wrong with it, that’s been off the road many years, I reckon 8 +

Think it was brakes initially now just lack of use. I’ll ask next time I see him.
Oh do you know the chap then ? Be interesting to know what keeps that off the road. The tvr own engines have a reputation for being fragile as well
