When my mate was racing on the ovals in the late 80s/early 90s a few stock car drivers used converted coaches as transporters.

The banger racers preferred a flat bed truck with a Hi-ab! laugh

Saw this rather sad looking Lancia HPE in Surrey yesterday

According to DVLA Tax Check it's been off the road possibly longer than that house has been there (1997), I reckon it's been just been rescued ready for some TLC
If it's on the outskirts of Woking, think it's been parked up there for quite a few years. Local car judging by the registration, possibly sold new by Tony Brooks former Fiat/Lancia dealership over in West Byfleet. Intrigued as to why you would keep a nice car like this but let it slowly deteriorate outside. I would either do it up and enjoy it or sell it.

Spotted at the weekend but SWMBO was too slow to get a photo.
There was a 156 in front of the green 147 and I think a HPE? in the front garden along with a couple of other cars.
Had to find it on google maps

I reckon an HPE is a good call, & perhaps a Y10 tucked by the gate post?

Took this image from Google Earth after passing this spot many times, although they dont look bad from the road and there's another compound adjacent but not visible from the road,

Not sure what's going on there. I see a Scimitar and a VX/490 on the other side of the yard.

Cool, ta.

This lot is only 5 minutes drive away, though I think some have now gone.

Are you sure that's the same lot? The only Car that is similar, including colour, is the beetle.
Ok, the van is a bit of a giveaway., but the others are different.

Can see a couple more that match in the Ebay photos, but no I am not 100% sure.

Are you a betting man? wink

The Beetle certainly looks the same, bar the bumpers which have been painted to cover the rusty chrome.

R reg Mk4 1500 Spitty not MoT’d since 2005 … looked very neglected.

No tax since 1999 weirdly.
