This odd TR7 estate might be being saved, hard to say, sent to me by a friend.
That is an increadibly rare Crayford TR7 Tracer. Apparently only prototypes were made and just one still survives (presumably this one)

Despite appearances this old Devon has only been here for about 3 months, along with an old Bedford truck at the same time, odd, door left open too now which seems counter-productive to saving the thing .

If you have any further details of where it is, etc. could you forward them to me by PM please?

One of my mates remembers his dad having one when he was young, and we often reminisce about 50s Austins as my Dad brought me home from the Maternity Ward in an A40 Somerset.

I have a picture of that car, regn no. TPE 944S: a few minor differences from the one shown in the aronline link above in that it has a red vinyl roof, webasto-type sunroof, towbar and normal TR7 alloys and I assume is the same car as shown on the trailer in the original post.

My understanding is that only one was ever produced.

Page Motors was local to me in SW London and Surrey and I am sure there was a Tracer in their showroom in Surbiton in the
early 80s , I think it was yellow .
I think there was more than 1 made .

I've seen another article from the Crayford Club which said the prototype was based on a yellow TR7 fhc, exhibited at the Motor Show and later owned by the secretary of the TR7 club; it was resprayed red. It states there weren't any orders for further cars and remained a one-off; whether that's correct or not I've no idea.

The lesser loved 4 door.
Still looks to have rear arches and sills so can't be that bad.

I remember these two being parked when I did my paper round over 20 years ago. It’s safe to say they’re not going anywhere.

A Fiat 126 and a Reliant Regal.

I've often thought about a hybrid of these two. Replace the engine, box and back axle of the Regal with the Fiat running gear, so as to build a pastiche of a Trivette. Maybe the owner had similar ideas.

Not sure how long this has been here but it's looking rather neglected. Mk 2 Granada, maybe a Ghia or Ghia X but the front fogs look a bit aftermarket....

Very horrible things will be happening to the paint underneath that cover.

Going on how clean the wheels are, I'd hope it hasn't been there for too long.

Is the hole in the cover to display the tax disc?

2.8i judging by the rubber spoiler; I think the later Ghias and Ghia Xs had fog lights mounted there as std?
