That's been there for years. It's a scrapper.
I'm surprised I haven't spotted it before as I drive along Sheffield Road regularly!

I guess these are borderline classics now - although this one has gone too far.

Triumph 1800 or Renown. Looks saveable from the photo.

Belongs to a good friend of mine. needs a cylinder head on it as it's missing, but he does want rid of it if anyone is interested.

He should insure it if it’s parked on the road.

It looked very solid, just covered in a layer of surface rust. The Daimler behind, not so much.

Definitely a classic, by my definition. That is, prices have finally passed the point of inflexion and seem to be on the rise. Even before COVID.....

But, I am biased.....here is mine....

I’ve never been a fan of anything VW, except the Mk2 Golf GTI 16V, and the MK5 GTI, together with all generations of the Scirocco.

However, I love the 1970-1990 ranges of VW Campers.

Agreed. We only bought the T25 because we weren't sure whether we would use a campervan much. So, I wanted something I could punt on easily if it sat languishing in the driveway. That was over ten years ago and the old van really got under our skin..... Now it's part of many family memories, so I cannot see us getting rid.

( Having said that we have not used it for six months trying to get the gearbox replaced..... Should be done in a couple of weeks now smile )

It's probably not doing much harm on the side of the road, he's not driving it, so morally, I don't really consider him a lawbreaker.
Is one of your many hobbies pointing out, and getting angry about petty lawbreakers?
