Classics left to die/rotting pics - Vol 2
Discussion
Not great pics as taken through the car window but these have been in the long stay carpark at Bergerac airport since at least 2016. They've even built the solar panel roof over them
The Jeep, the XJ40 and the T124 are all registered locally (24 or 33) but RHD.
It's odd that neither the owners nor the airport have moved them as the largest auto-dismantler in the area is literally right next door to the airport, less than 500 yards from where these are abandoned

Expat childless retirees have died off after quaffing too much cheap wine because of too little to do, perhaps? The Jeep, the XJ40 and the T124 are all registered locally (24 or 33) but RHD.

The estates were S124, not T!
I’m sure that the W123 estates were known as W123T.
When the 124 came along they called the estate S124, and then started referring to S123 as well.
I can’t remember where I read that though.

I read that too.... I have visions of a gong mounted in the passenger window and a big felt head mallet in the driver's hand..

Spotted this at a chateau in France where we are having a family wedding - 3 door but appears to only be a cooking model
Somebody with better knowledge than me will be along soon, but I think that style of plate means it hasn't changed ownership / département for several years. The blue band with "F" in it became optional from 1998, which could signify the last change of ownership.Gassing Station | Classic Cars and Yesterday's Heroes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
