Not great pics as taken through the car window but these have been in the long stay carpark at Bergerac airport since at least 2016. They've even built the solar panel roof over them

The Jeep, the XJ40 and the T124 are all registered locally (24 or 33) but RHD.

It's odd that neither the owners nor the airport have moved them as the largest auto-dismantler in the area is literally right next door to the airport, less than 500 yards from where these are abandoned

You may know if this is correct or not.

I’m sure that the W123 estates were known as W123T.

When the 124 came along they called the estate S124, and then started referring to S123 as well.

I can’t remember where I read that though.

Expat childless retirees have died off after quaffing too much cheap wine because of too little to do, perhaps?

First reason for MOT failure in 2015.

I read that too.... I have visions of a gong mounted in the passenger window and a big felt head mallet in the driver's hand..

Also - registered as 998cc so possibly not a genuine 1275GT????

I don't suppose it is for sale is it?

The internal code for Estates was always "S" (the saloons would be W, the coupes C, long wheelbase V..... etc) however the model name was T. That was the case for both the S123 and S124 before the naming convention changed to the E prefix when the estate and saloon had the same badge eg "E200"

Somebody with better knowledge than me will be along soon, but I think that style of plate means it hasn't changed ownership / département for several years. The blue band with "F" in it became optional from 1998, which could signify the last change of ownership.

This would have gone in the spotted thread but for the two flat tyres and the lack of road tax (it is MoT’d)

Scooby hasn't moved for years. Often an Integra Type R parked behind it.
