Lancia Delta > FIAT sold only a handfull Bravos: why? They are great cars.

Fiat are only really known for their small cars here. Anything bigger than the Punto and they struggle, though TBH the Bravo is probably past its sell by date by now. Not sure if the 'new' Tipo; is coming here.

Saw one of these today, I can't remember the last time I saw one!

In the last week I've spotted a FIAT Bravo (any guesses which colour) and a Renault 9 in a nice light blue. Neither common sights even here in sunny Devon where there would seem to be a higher density of otherwise disappeared cars.

Bullit proof buggers! Even Ypsilons are frequent runners here.

All rusted away? Thought these were the nicest looking VWs for ages, especially in estate TDi form.

I was parked next to a Ford Anglia (E105) estate at my sons football this morning. I can't image there are too many of these left on the road these days.

I just drove home behind a FIAT Stilo estate. It was on a 54 plate so hardly ancient but not a frequent sight.

The owner of my local newsagents has a Stilo Ferrari Schumacher Edition in almost perfect condition, must be as rare as a hens tooth. Yet its probably worth very little.

Try finding a regular Chrysler/Talbot Sunbeam. A few Lotus's have survived due to the desirability and now value but an LS or GLS and even Ti are virtually extinct. Come think of it, pretty much all the Talbot range from early 80' is no longer around. Suppose it's the same story from the motor industry at that time, cars weren't built very well and not designed to last more 10 years.

Anything Rootes or Simca is at risk in the future, even though they were big producers at the time, simply because the new generation has never heard of them and wont care about them. Pity. The Stilo is a very good spot and given the state of MS's health will be a future curiosity.

27 taxed LaFerraris, 3 SORNed. The others aren't listed on HML, they'd just come under Ferrari - Missing.

Sadly mostly scrapped for their parts, engines and all sorts of other things used in caddys and Mk2 golfs. I've got one of the last few GT estates and finding parts isn't easy at all.

The Estelle, 25 years ago these were in every street, for what was a mass produced car rare to see one now. A what was with the side opening bonnet? Didn't Saab try the same? No idea why!

It is the boot lid that is sideways hinged!

The wife had one and it was utterly brilliant and 100% reliable. Far better than my diesel Escort.

I've never driven one, no idea what they're like, but this one;

Also the 2.4 cam-in-head petrol engines out of them were a handy basis for a hotted up Manta.
