Reminded me of this...

Thats a much better photo, very cool!
I wish it was my car and pic but it's from a young woman I've chatted to online. Her video on Petrolicious tells all.

I am reminded in this thread of taking my GT5S to Santa Pod. She held her own against much more modern machinery but I had to wait until well into 2nd before applying full power. Even so, 12.4 @ (I think) 118mph was pretty respectable for the old girl.

Earlier the same year (2014 if I remember correctly), we drove to her spiritual home of Moderna - this was taken in the Alps on the return journey. Less than an hour later we were in 20 something C heat in Germany - Balmy.

One I forgot about. Soapy at Santa Pod, reaching an impressive.....34mph thanks to a few different (unknown at the time) reasons in 2017. Currently the engine is in bits for a full rebuild.

When I used to take my Pantera to the track these were taken at Buttonwillow Raceway in Bakersfield, California.

A very nice and rare car.

I know they weren’t very fast, but to the untrained eye it doesn’t appear to be moving?
