Indeed, and 70s Turquoise suits / green oxford bags are probably still to be found somewhere within Brighton's Lanes too...

The Avenger GT brings back memories, my Dad had an identical one in yellow and we went all across France in the 1970’s on camping holidays with our Conway Trailer tent, us three boys asking “are we were there yet” with our skin welded to the vinyl seats, happy days!

Just noticed the “Avenger” numberplate, the casual spacing typified the attitude to quality back then. Good enough will do!

I remember our Avenger breaking down in France (as they did in those days) and we ended up taking it to a rural French garage where the mechanic had never seen one before, he did however manage to get it going.

I remember the Avenger Tiger (my Dad's mate had two, one orange and one blue) but I don't remember the GT.

Just found this lurking in the hard drive...
