Disagree - the 1982 Audi 100 C3 successfully built upon the foundation of the RO 80, with a low drag body delivering better fuel economy than other large executive cars.It was the future back then, with almost all other manufacturers following suit and adopting aero efficiency throughout their ranges by the early 90s.
Loved my old 1990 100 Avant Quattro.
